The game automatically switches you back to a standard shot, so if you’re not paying attention, it’s easy to fail on accident. It’s important to note that you need to switch to a lob shot after every shot. This test requires you to hit three lob shots in a row over a water wall and into targets. Make sure you have the lob wedge equipped or you won’t be able to start this challenge. Particularly on the closer target, consider using backspin to keep the ball on target.Īfter you clear the challenge, head forward to your second test. Where the ball ends up is where the game scores you. It’s not too tough, but keep in mind the ball will roll after it hits the ground. You have to hit three targets with three shots to pass. The second mode, simply titled Mario Golf, is where simpler, stand-alone games can be played - from one-off matches versus the computer or friends who also own the game, to online tournaments that change every few days.
